Maintenance Engineer II (7551)

About the Role

This position is responsible for general maintenance of all Tribal entities’ indoor and outdoor premises. Works with all departments on an as-needed basis and alongside all Engineering personnel. Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding the mission statement.
• Deliver the Five Star Experience by embodying the Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards, including consistency in: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized, and Valued service.
• Maintain operating condition of all Tribal entities’ buildings and equipment, completing simple repairs using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Receive and review all Engineering Request Forms to determine problems and solutions.
• Aid in planning Tribal entities’ projects, remodeling, expansions, and monitor jobs completed by outside contractors.
• Perform ground maintenance requiring technical knowledge of construction and maintenance work, including cost-estimating methods.
• Follow safety guidelines and work closely with the Safety Coordinator to ensure adherence to all OSHA safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
• Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors, assisting them as required.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, attending all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must pass periodic random drug screens.
• Must pass a background suitability investigation.
• Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License and all other applicable certifications and licenses.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Work Environment

• Works across multiple locations, some of which are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
• Must be flexible to work any and all hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
• Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
• Some enterprises are not smoke-free environments.
• Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
