What We’re Looking For:

A skilled and dependable Engineer I who will bring technical expertise and a commitment to excellence to our property operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform skilled trade work across disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, ensuring all systems run safely and efficiently. From responding to maintenance requests to supporting emergency procedures, you’ll play a vital part in creating a seamless guest experience and maintaining the integrity of our facilities. Your Experience Includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance or skilled trades with journey-level responsibilities in a hospitality or hotel maintenance environment, preferred.
  • Post-high school training or equivalent education in a maintenance or engineering-related discipline, preferred.
  • Certification or additional formal training related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other trades, preferred.
  • Proven background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or related trades.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining trade-related tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, MSDS compliance, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Experience with emergency response procedures and routine inspections.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and repair manuals.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, work on ladders, and lift/pull/push 50 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift.
