Responsibilities

• Delivers KPI’s to drive continuous improvement.
• Reviews data with the Maintenance Supervisor and enacts combined effort plans to improve: Regulatory Compliance, Safety Compliance, Overall Work Order Completion.
• Analyses key maintenance performance KPI’s (work order close out, time to repair, etc.) to understand trends and develop action plans where necessary.
• Improves equipment and organizational performance, becomes fluent in Vopak Standards, and applies general industry standards.
• Owns the mechanical integrity system: Sets PM frequency, reviews all mechanical integrity inspection reports with the maintenance and operations teams to develop repair plans and improvements.
• Participates in assessment team meetings for mechanical integrity of critical assets, ensures regulatory, safety critical, and business critical assets are managed per the global mechanical integrity system, conducts and maintains equipment criticality assessments, conducts and assists in root cause analysis on bad actor equipment, develops low cost solutions, and assists in changes resulting in long term reliability improvements.
• Uses findings to inform the Sustaining Capex Program, works with vendors and third parties to ensure proper equipment and continuous improvement of service, serves as the “super user” for the computerized maintenance system, and ensures product movement is consistent with Vopak and customer standards.
• Serves as the Management of Change system owner, ensuring correct documentation & procedures are followed, updates or manages updates of drawings to be uploaded into the database.
• Accountable for product movement to ensure operations are consistently performed according to Vopak and customer standards.
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or other related engineering field; or 15+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• 1y+ years of experience using Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP, MAXIMO, INFOR, etc.
• 2y+ years of experience in an industrial related field.
• Self-starter, eager to deliver improvements to the maintenance organization.
• Solutions driven, always keeping operational standards and customer satisfaction in the forefront.
• Highly collaborative within direct and indirect teams.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Identifies process improvements to remove waste and enhance service delivery.
• Strong change management skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong active listener.
• Driven to create and implement solutions from broad organizational goals.
