Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer will support maintenance groups on a variety of electrical and electronic systems for a range of manufacturing machinery and related support equipment. Provide troubleshooting expertise to maintenance personnel. Identify opportunities for improvements for safety, maintainability, reliability, and operability and execute small projects to achieve these goals from conception through installation and commissioning.
- Specify electrical and components to optimize standardization and reliability.
- Affiliate with improving and executing the maintenance electrician training program.
- Manage machine control software applications.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology. At least three years of hands-on experience performing troubleshooting or engineering related functions with the following:
- PLC based control systems
- Three phase power distribution systems
- Industrial instrumentation
- Variable Frequency Drives and induction motors
Skill with creating electrical schematics with AutoCAD. The ability to manage multiple projects while being available to assist maintenance personnel with factory floor downtime issues. The ability to self-motivate and complete independent assignments or components of group projects in a timely manner. The aptitude and desire to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
