Maintenance Engineer

About the role

A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for all upkeep and repair duties, including identifying repair needs, responding to guests’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment. The ideal candidate is skilled, hard-working, and possesses outstanding problem-solving abilities, physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool & spa (minor repairs).
• Troubleshoot and repair company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
• While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention.
• Respond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely manner.
• Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean.
• Be an active participant in inventory control.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Must be a team player.
