Maintenance Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrols the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
• Maintains order in the hotel, dealing with the welfare of guests, coordinating expedient response to emergency conditions such as fire, safety hazards, and threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
• Inspects equipment, troubleshoots malfunctions, and conducts routine maintenance.
• Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
• Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
• Providing technical support and training on new equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to be a team player.
