Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Wyndham Midland Downtown Hotel is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks
• Ensure building systems are functioning properly
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in maintenance or construction
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
