Maintenance Engineer

Healthcare Realty Trust (NYSE:HR) is a real estate investment trust that owns, manages, and develops medical real estate throughout the country. We are recruiting for an experienced on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned repairs, building upkeep duties (e.g., periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing), emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Read blueprints and use basic skills with Microsoft Office, personal computer, and smartphone for work order system and email.
• Take ownership of work, demonstrate flexibility, and focus on creating a positive and welcoming impression.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of:
  • Building Automation Systems
  • Electrical systems and controls
  • Condensing boilers
  • Package rooftop HVAC
  • Variable air volume systems
  • Chemical treatment
  • Emergency generation equipment
  • Plumbing
  • Transfer switches and life safety systems
• Excellent organization, verbal, written, and multi-tasking skills.
• Self-sufficient team player.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Licensure or trade certification is a plus.
