Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced full-time on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned repairs, building upkeep duties as needed (periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing), emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Uses personal computer and smart phone for work order system and email.
• Reads blueprints.
• Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.
• On-call approximately every five weeks; travels to buildings within the Dallas metropolitan area.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of:
  • Building Automation Systems
  • Electrical systems and controls
  • Condensing boilers
  • Package rooftop HVAC
  • Variable air volume systems
  • Chemical treatment
  • Emergency generation equipment
  • Plumbing
  • Transfer switches and life safety systems
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organization, verbal, written, and multi-tasking skills.
• Self-sufficient team player.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Licensure or trade certification a plus.
