One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Farmington, UT.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring equipment failures
- Support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new production equipment
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment performance
- Maintain and optimize CMMS data, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history
- Assist in planning plant shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and capital improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of maintenance engineering or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems
- Experience with CMMS software, preventive maintenance planning, and equipment reliability programs
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and industrial automation systems
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, or oil analysis
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
