Job Summary

The Maintenance Clerk at El Rancho Supermercado is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation for the store, restrooms, offices, and managing cleaning supply inventory. This role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, and a friendly, positive attitude.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean building floor by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, using soapy water, cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture walls, machines, and equipment
• Maintain dry floor area, especially at the front door
• Deploy wet floor cones when necessary

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• Sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Regularly required to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work schedule is variable, including overnight shifts
