Maintenance Electrician

Essential Functions

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Performs service to pumps, fans, kitchen equipment, dishwashers, a variety of plumbing fixtures and other mechanical equipment as necessary
• Utilizes the building automation system to track building conditions and the operation of facilities equipment
• Aids lower level technicians with work assignments and coaches as appropriate
• Creates and modifies site operations procedures for equipment and recommends facilities reliability improvements
• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, and related control systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Performs mechanical upgrades and installations in accordance with code requirements and manufacturers recommendations
• Utilizes strong computer skills to complete and document work as well as communicate with customers and the Client
• Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations, site policies and industry standards

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• At least 2 years of experience with maintenance & repair of electrical, controls or commercial HVAC systems
• WA State – Nonresidential maintenance (07) electrical license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs as required during shift
• Able to bend/stoop, squat, stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift
