About the role

Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. The Maintenance Electrician will perform the more difficult and complex electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of facility and production electrical equipment and systems in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks on machine tools and other manufacturing and building equipment
  • Performs the more difficult and complex skilled tasks to install and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment including generators, transformers, motors, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment
  • Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical systems and equipment such as electronic tube exhaust machines, air conditioners units, and other manufacturing equipment where a high degree of skill and versatility is essential
  • Performs all required tests or measurements necessary to determine electrical transmission and operational malfunctions utilizing appropriate instruments and equipment
  • Determines load requirements or wiring and electrical equipment
  • Works from blueprints, drawings, layout, diagrams, schematics, and written and verbal instructions
  • Performs minor mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production and building equipment as necessary

  • Report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of electrician apprenticeship or trade school training as industrial electrician
  • Familiarity with electrical codes
  • Electrician license (Master level license is preferred)

Pay

Pay may range from $34.00 to $37.00 hourly. The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
