About the role
As the Maintenance Director, you will oversee preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs while providing counsel to management regarding community issues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs
- Provide counsel to management regarding community issues
- Supervise staff members in maintenance and grounds keeping
- Carry a cell phone and respond to maintenance calls
- Know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to community
- Follow Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience
- Preferred knowledge of Life Safety Regulations
- Must have HVAC Experience
- Must be available for on-call rotations
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment
- Must have some knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment, machinery, etc.
