Maintenance Director

About the Role

CareCore at Margaret Hall is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and hands-on Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and projects
• Oversee the overall upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local safety and health regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for inspections, repairs, and major projects
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and inventory
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues

Requirements

• Prior experience in maintenance within a healthcare, long-term care, or similar setting required
• Experience with Life Safety Code Compliance required
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
