About the role
The role involves maintaining school facilities, cleaning classrooms and common areas, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Maintain school facilities, including classrooms and common areas.
- Clean and organize classrooms and common areas daily.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols and cleaning techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in custodial work or related field.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Experience with sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces.
- Basic computer literacy.
