Primary Job Duties The Maintenance Control Center coordinates and facilitates a safe maintenance operation in keeping with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations. They also maintain operational control by continuous liaison with dispatch and provides that department with current and continuing reports of the airworthiness status of the aircraft through the ARB status board. Coordinate on line maintenance needs with planning and dispatchProvide technical assistance to line mechanics, flight crews and emergency maintenance providers following maintenance manuals and air worthiness proceduresCreate and maintain daily reportsIssue and document DMI'sWill receive MX Control Override and Location OverrideOther duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Must have Airline experience in any of the following: Maintenance Control, Line Maintenance or Maintenance SupervisionWorking knowledge of Airline airworthiness proceduresGood communication skills on the phone and in personWork well with others in individual and team situationsGood computer skills able to adapt to Sky Track, Sabre, Excel and other web-based programs Physical And Other Requirements Sitting at a computer for extended periods of timeA&P Mechanic LicenceMust be living in or willing to relocate to St. George, UTWilling to work a schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off, consisting of 11-hour shifts, which are bid by mechanic seniorityThis is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position This position is eligible for $10,000 location bonus, contingent upon agreeing to working the position for 3 years.
