About the Role

Performs and assists repair work on all machines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands basic drawings and blueprints.
• Troubleshoots basic electrical circuits.
• Practices safe work habits and instructs others in performance of safety procedures.
• Works with Class I maintenance personnel and supervisors in problem solving and development of new processes.
• Performs preventative maintenance duties of all plant machinery and equipment established within MC.
• Performs mechanical repairs on conveyor systems and gearboxes.
• Assists in repairing facilities, plant machinery, and equipment.
• Maintains inventory of materials used in performance of duties.
• Documents all work performed.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas of plant and grounds.
