Maintenance Building & Grounds 1st

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of all exterior areas of the facility.
• Collects and disposes of outdoor trash into designated compactors.
• Performs assigned preventative maintenance on buildings and grounds.
• Aids maintenance staff with repair and improvement projects as needed.
• Detects and reports damaged materials, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform janitorial and groundskeeping duties safely and effectively.
• Hands-on experience using hand and power tools, including skill saws, grinders, levels, drills, impact tools, concrete saws, and concrete mixers.
• General handyman experience, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, remodeling, drywall installation, framing, basic electrical work, and tile work.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, including working with internal staff and external contractors.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• A valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Movement of trash bags and continuous physical labor throughout the workday.
• Safety and adherence to company safety and food safety policies while operating equipment and vehicles.
