Responsibilities
- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure all facilities meet brand standards and safety regulations while managing energy efficiency.
- Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly and support guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as elevators and fire safety equipment.
- Skills in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for long-term efficiency.
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues promptly across a variety of hotel systems.
- Understanding of energy-efficient practices and systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Certifications like HVAC Technician, Electrician License, or OSHA safety training are preferred.
- A customer-focused mindset with awareness of how maintenance activities can impact guests and taking measures to minimize disruptions.
