Maintenance

About the role

Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs, cleans, and tests facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems, and related equipment in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure waterblasting machines.
• Test, repair, and calibrate facility relief valves.
• Utilize electric, air, and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
• Use cutting equipment and rig for lifting equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Clean up work area following job completion and properly dispose of waste materials.
• Return tools and equipment to storage areas.
• Complete routine or assigned duties to meet maintenance department schedules and minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

• Minimum four years of industrial pipefitting experience as a primary skill.
• Attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen.
