About the role

Elite Building Services is looking to hire a full-time Field Maintenance Technician to work in the state of Pennsylvania five days per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Candidate must possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Some evening and weekend work may be required for emergency work. This position requires regular travel to customer sites throughout Philadelphia and its western suburbs down toward Delaware. Candidates must be able to travel within a 50-mile radius, including: Glen Mills, Philadelphia, West Chester, Ardmore, Kennett Square, Downingtown, Malvern, King of Prussia, and Media, PA. Company vehicle, gas card, tools, and materials will be provided during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Commercial maintenance work
• Installing commercial shades
• Hanging medical curtains
• Installing curtain track
• Changing door locks
• Replacing light bulbs
• Changing ballasts
• Minor plumbing work
• Minor electrical work
• Unclogging toilets
• Hanging numerous items on walls
• Minor sheetrock repair
• Patching and painting
• Assembling office furniture
• Various handyman work

Role requirements

• 1 year maintenance/handyman experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day
• Bend, stretch, stand, twist, reach, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Climb stairs and ladders

Compensation & benefits

$24.00 – $27.00 per hour, based on experience
