Maintenance

About the Role

This position provides maintenance support for the churches, cemeteries, and school within the CPR cluster of parishes. The role reports to the Maintenance Director, Don Socolovitch.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of buildings and surrounding structures.
• Regular upkeep of the appearance of parish buildings, including landscaping, trash removal, and janitorial services.
• Maintains logs for mileage reimbursement.
• Basic understanding and adherence to OSHA and MiOSHA safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the maintenance director, pastor, and business manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with current auto insurance and a reliable vehicle.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work well with multiple outside agencies, people, and organizations connected with job responsibilities.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including cold, heat, and inclement weather.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision at times.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and pick up items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

Employee is expected to work flexible days/hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Average weekly hours will be approximately 20 hours.
