Working in our Maintenance team at Valley View Village, you’ll assist with general maintenance, repairs, painting and preventative upkeep throughout the community. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of maintenance experience, is dependable, detail‑oriented, and enjoys working independently while supporting a team‑focused environment. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Wage: $20 - $22 / per hour depending on experience Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317 Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as neededImplement and schedule a preventive maintenance programRespond to maintenance requests by residents and staffPainting and drywallingFollow-through on projects with little supervisionPerform manual tasks and carry out all given job-related instructionsKeep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projectsComplete lawn care and snow removal as neededPerform other duties as requested Maintenance Qualifications: 3-5 years of maintenance experience required.
