Position Summary

The Maintenance position at Cardenas Markets is responsible for store custodial duties such as maintaining the store premises.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to address questions in a friendly and service-oriented manner;
• Manage various tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and presentable interior and exterior of the store;
• Aid all departments with spills and potential hazards;
• Comply with health and safety regulations;
• Maintain a log of cleaning/maintenance activities;
• Provide flexibility by helping in any area to support store needs.

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls;
• Success of performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus;
• The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Conditions

• Work schedules are variables depending on the needs of price changes the schedules will be variable working from midnight.

$16.90 to $19.30 per hour. The pay scale above is a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
