About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, positive, and professional employee with mechanical aptitude for construction, electrical, plumbing, and welding. This role involves performing routine maintenance of equipment and machinery, troubleshooting and repairing structural, mechanical, or electrical problems as they arise. A good working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is preferred.

You must be able to work well with others as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary parts and repairs.
• Perform repairs on facilities (e.g., feed systems, crates, gating, heating, ventilation).
• Perform repairs on equipment (e.g., vehicles, tractors, equipment attachments).
• Perform repairs on well and lagoon systems.
• Perform maintenance and upkeep on facility grounds.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair, plumbing, and welding.
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
