About the role

Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility
• Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs
• Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate
• Maintain plant sanitation standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a mechanically related field preferred
• Experience reading and understanding computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders
• Skilled with hand tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
