Maintenance

About the role

Responsible for managing facility repairs and maintenance, performing major and minor repairs of all buildings. Ensures a clean and safe environment and can perform routine safety checks on equipment, devices, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility equipment (compressors, blast, paint, scales, cranes, forklifts, loaders, etc.)
• Document and track maintenance on facility equipment (compressors, loaders, forklifts, etc.)
• Perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance on building and equipment
• Perform HVAC and plumbing repairs and maintenance on building and equipment

Requirements

• 2-3 years of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical experience or a combination of formal training and hands-on experience
• Flexible, adaptable, and works well within a team environment
• Self-motivated and self-driven
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work standing on hard surfaces (e.g., concrete) for up to 12 hours per day in hot or cold environments
• Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, or stoop to perform various functions of this position
• Ability to reach with hands and arms and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Ability to understand basic math and measurements

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes one hour for lunch)
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Additional hours may be required outside of normal business hours as needed
• One weekend day per month for preventative maintenance purposes

Pay

Wage is negotiable and dependent on experience and qualifications.
