Maintenance Associate

About the Role

The Maintenance Associate’s primary responsibility is the quality and upkeep of the marina. This person will perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning, apply basic fixes to equipment and building systems, and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. The Maintenance Associate projects a professional company image through all interactions and must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation)
• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services, expediting maintenance requests from management
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, and other marina-specific duties as requested
• Use hand tools and power tools to make minor maintenance repairs and maintain grounds and walks

Requirements

• Prior maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
• Highly effective communication and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
• Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in emergencies
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the property
