Maintenance Associate

About the role

The Maintenance Associate at Curio Wellness is responsible for inspecting and repairing machines, equipment, and structures to support the Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Retail functions of the company. This role requires independent work and occasional overtime or an augmented schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled corrective maintenance on building systems
• Repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, pumps, chillers, boilers, water heaters, split systems, exhaust fans, and rooftop units
• Test and repair electrical switches, outlets, heaters, interior/exterior lighting, and associated controls
• Install and repair plumbing, irrigation piping, and associated systems
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs on walls, ceilings, floors, and doors, as well as painting
• This role may involve occasional call-ins, weekend work, and an on-call schedule
• Traveling between company buildings is required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Proven maintenance experience
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Skills in using hand and power tools
• Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, flow meters, and light meters
• Experience performing routine maintenance
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Attention to detail
• Professional attitude with ability to work independently
• Strong time management skills
• Basic computer skills
