Position Summary

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility, helping ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
• Ensure facility equipment and systems are functioning properly
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in accordance with regulations
• Assist with groundskeeping and facility upkeep as needed

Qualifications

• General "jack-of-all-trades" maintenance experience required
• Maintenance experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Compassion and respect for the elderly and medically fragile population
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete a background check
