Maintenance Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repairing of various equipment and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Perform industrial preventative maintenance and work on associate software systems
- Maintain a level head and professional mannerism during high pressure / high stress situations, as well as work extensive overtime hours as required for harvest season and emergency repairs and preventative maintenance
- Work safely in less-than-ideal weather conditions including heavy rain, snow, and hot and cold ambient temperatures while climbing grain elevators, bins, etc.
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair on 120V to 480V electrical systems daily
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair Information Technology (IT) systems weekly
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair mechanical systems daily
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems monthly
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair PLC (hardware and logic) systems monthly
- Troubleshoot and assist with the repair Integris systems weekly
- Troubleshoot and assist with repair on video jet printer twice per year
- Assist with plumbing repairs twice a year
