About the role
Support the upkeep and improvement of the university's campus, buildings, and equipment through proactive maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Landscaping
- Servicing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Drywall, plaster repairs, and painting
- Light carpentry and furniture moving
- Snow and ice removal
- Other assigned tasks
Requirements
- At least 2 years of building maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electricity, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and landscaping
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and lift up to 100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Building operator certification
- Refrigeration certification
- Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and modular furniture repair
Schedule
Duties are performed onsite, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime. Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
