About the role
The Maintenance Assistant position is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of facility systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, and handwashing the facility/equipment
- Preventative and Reactive maintenance replacing facility equipment filters, belts, etc.
- Operating a forklift – training and certification will be provided
- Closing work orders
- Paint Booth maintenance
Requirements
- Some computer experience preferred
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Basic maintenance knowledge
- Ability to perform minor repairs
- Previous maintenance, janitorial or mechanical experience is helpful but not required
- Lifting Requirements: 5 – 75 lbs.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Pre-employment physical will be required
Schedule
- 6am–2:30pm (M–F)
- Sunday–Thursday with overtime opportunities
