Maintenance Assistant

Major Activities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of construction tools, equipment, and company property.
• Conduct inspections of tools, machinery, and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Absorb inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Absorb loading/unloading materials and setting up equipment as needed.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and other staff.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools, lubrication equipment, electric/pneumatic power tools.
• Ability or willingness to learn how to operate Aerial and Forklifts.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to work from heights and off ladders and Aerial Lifts.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work some nights and weekends, as needed.
• Possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel to supplier or logistics partner sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with cranes, welders, or plasma.
