Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities
- Complete daily physical rounds throughout the facility to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment.
- Review maintenance request logs regularly and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with staff to support improvements in resident living spaces and overall facility environment.
- Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to support resident safety and comfort.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) or more years of general maintenance experience required (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades).
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay
$18-$23/hour
