Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

Kotarides Property Management is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Maintenance Assistant for our rapidly growing company. The Maintenance Assistant position involves the upkeep of the apartment community to enhance and maintain its curb appeal and assist the rest of the maintenance staff. This includes assisting in unit turnovers and minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the property by physically walking the property frequently and removing litter, debris, etc., from the grounds.
• Ensure timely turnover of vacant units under the direction of the Property Manager.
• Perform interior and exterior painting duties when requested.
• Assist with make-ready duties and complete unit work orders when requested.
• Distribute notices to residents.
• Be available to report to work during any inclement weather event for property clean up and emergencies.
• Be aware of the condition of the physical property throughout the community and immediately correct unsafe conditions (e.g., burned-out exterior lights, open holes, broken gates, etc.).
• Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with the residents.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-year experience in apartment or similar maintenance.

Pay

$21.00 per hour
