Maintenance Assistant

About the role

Responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and replacing equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Document all work performed and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of basic maintenance tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification (optional but preferred)
