Maintenance Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Highgate Senior Living. This position offers a unique work environment where you can positively impact the lives of over 700 seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to residents' suites and communal spaces
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Maintain the exterior and grounds of the building
• Handle customer service needs for residents

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification
• Current negative TB test
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously
• Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance
• Valid driver license with clean driving abstract
• Track record of top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills
• Ability with hand and power tools
• Willingness to attend and incorporate training into work efforts

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.
