About the role
Temecula Healthcare, a Generations Healthcare facility, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join its team. The facility is known for its high-quality patient care and offers a supportive work environment. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for the respective shift or area.
- Cook up daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
- Handle other related duties as directed by supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Ability to maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with others and handle residents based on their maturity levels.
- Ability to minimize waste, misuse of equipment, and incorporate new methods into existing practices.
