Maintenance Assistant

About the role

We are currently seeking applicants for an Maintenance Assistant position at Danbury Senior Living. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, community, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist residents with transportation to appointments when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience in environmental services or building maintenance related positions recommended.

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
