Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Assistant Support a Safe and Comfortable Environment for Our Residents

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned - Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools - Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order - Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance - Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors - Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner

Requirements

- Has experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators - Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance - Communicates clearly and works well within a team - Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach - Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
