Maintenance Assistant

Aegis of Laguna Niguel is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director in the general maintenance and repair of our assisted living community, focusing on cost-effective solutions to maintenance issues.

Schedule

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Prepare rooms for new residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and the Maintenance Director regarding updates or issues

Requirements

• Knowledge of or ability to learn facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community
• Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
• Knowledge of or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test

Pay

USD $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
