Maintenance Assistant

Aegis of Moraga is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director in the general maintenance and repair of our assisted living community, focusing on cost-effective solutions to maintenance issues.

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Prepare rooms for new residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and the Maintenance Director regarding updates or issues
• Light housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community
• Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
• Knowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test

Pay

USD $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
