Maintenance Area Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Four-year college degree is preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience as a maintenance manager, maintenance engineer, maintenance support specialist, or maintenance craftsperson in a heavy equipment manufacturing facility.

• Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department.
• Adapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.
• Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems.
• Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks and makes appropriate decisions.
• Evaluates and recommends new equipment, and process and maintenance technologies.
• Operates a computer workstation.
• Works in a production-oriented environment.

• Works under frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
