Maintenance Area Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Four-year college degree is preferred.
- Two or more years’ experience as a maintenance manager, maintenance engineer, maintenance support specialist, or maintenance craftsperson in a heavy equipment manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department.
- Adapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems.
- Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions.
- Organizes and prioritizes tasks and makes appropriate decisions.
- Evaluates and recommends new equipment, and process and maintenance technologies.
- Operates a computer workstation.
- Works in a production-oriented environment.
- Directs and supervises others.
- Evaluates and develops others.
- Works under frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
