Role Overview: The Maintenance Apprentice supports the maintenance team, reporting to the Community Manager, with responsibilities including minor repairs, groundskeeping, and property upkeep. The role emphasizes professionalism, effective communication, and positive resident interactions, ensuring the property remains well-maintained and safe. Key Responsibilities: Completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, preparing units for occupancy, maintaining grounds, and supporting safety inspections. Adheres to safety protocols, manages inventory, and follows property policies, including Fair Housing and OSHA standards. Qualifications & Skills: At least 2 years of grounds or porter experience, knowledge of maintenance equipment, ability to perform minor repairs, detail-oriented, strong time management, and good interpersonal skills. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and understanding of safety laws. Physical & Work Conditions: Requires standing, walking, occasional bending, and working in varied weather conditions. May involve travel between properties. Compensation: $20—$21 USD.
