Maintenance and Facilities Technician II

Responsibilities

• Handle preventive maintenance, perform repairs on fitness equipment
• Collaborate with your facilities team and across departments
• Manage work orders for both in-house duties and outsourced contractor services
• Coordinate outsourced projects by reviewing pricing and approving contracted jobs
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance, identifying repair and service needs
• Prioritize the most critical repairs to minimize disruptions to members
• Avoid travel within the market for training sessions, department meetings, and support
• Assist in performing repairs and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain the Maintenance Log
• Maintain an overview of inventory counts and order new equipment and supplies as needed

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) trade or related role
• Previous experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Proficient mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain fitness facility equipment and systems
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Team-based mentality with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, with regular ability to visit clubs across the assigned district (subject to ADA accommodation)
