Maintenance Administrator
About the role
Harsco Environmental is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for managing orders, coordinating workflows, and handling administrative tasks in support of our material processing and environmental services.
Responsibilities
- Place orders efficiently using IProcurement and XMR (Oracle) systems.
- Handle capital order requisitions with precision and attention to detail.
- Send out workflow emails within the plant to ensure smooth operations.
- Cook material management by coordinating pickup of materials as necessary, tagging inventory items, organizing them in designated locations, managing future inventory, and issuing oils/parts as required.
- Manage administrative tasks such as opening monthly purchase orders, organizing and filing printer forms, creating and managing work orders, and making necessary adjustments to purchase orders.
- Generate and review Open PO reports twice a week to monitor order status, record daily fuel sheet dips and water usage, perform fuel and oil balance reconciliation, and submit necessary forms by month-end.
- Verify packing slip costs against MSR costs and adjust when necessary.
- Manage time and resource by managing mechanic time entries, updating hour meters, running Fuel Master operations, and closing work orders promptly upon completion.
- Ensure compliance and quality assurance by handling submission of SOS samples, entering downtime data for equipment maintenance, and predicting maintenance plans for the month.
- Participate in meeting planning to contribute insights and updates.
- Manage regulatory compliance by handling HWA âRoadMapâ items.
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years administrative experience preferably in a steel mill or similar environment.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Affinity for safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
- A strong organized communicator with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented as this position maintains a variety of logs and completes multiple forms for a diverse group of internal and external customers.
- Computer savvy as a variety of custom and non-customized programs will be used on a regular basis, including but not limited to Oracle, Kronos, Uniwin, and Microsoft Office.
