About the role
Join us as we grow! Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing on a rolling basis, allowing us to adjust start dates to fit your schedule and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including wheel loaders, haul trucks, and other large machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
- Absorb and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy mobile equipment.
- Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
- Document all maintenance activities into CMMS system Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Absorb and assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical parts are readily available.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical degree in Heavy Construction equipment, Diesel mechanics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency for trouble shooting and documentation.
- Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications.
Physical Requirements
- Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings.
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Push/pull 100 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift.
- Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: Steel toed boots, Hearing Protection, Safety glasses, Cut-proof gloves, Hard hat, Latex gloves, Face shield, High visibility vest, Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin).

Pay
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
