Mainframe Sr Project Manager

About the role

The successful candidate will lead complex mainframe projects, ensuring project scope, quality, and delivery timelines are met. This role requires extensive experience in managing large-scale IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver mainframe projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, manage resources, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and communicate progress to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mainframe environments.
• Proven track record of leading high-stakes, complex projects.
• Experience with PMI methodologies and certifications preferred.
